Class Descriptions

NEW! Yogilates - Blending the asanas of Yoga nd the linear strength of Pilates promises to be the perfect treat for you body. This class runs 75-minutes and will provide you the best of both worlds.

Zumba Toning - Take Zumba Fitness to the next level with this cardio and resistance weight training program. This class is assured to provide a calorie-burning and muscle toning total body workout, with the same Zumba party atmosphere!

Step Boot Camp - This is high energy, fun class designed to increase your cardiovascular endurance and help build strong muscles. You will use the step for intense cardio work. Great for the heart and fun for the feet!

Power Yoga - A combination of traditional yoga with dynamic exercises. Places demands on all of the muscles, boosting circulation and improving muscle tone.

Zumba- Get moving in this high energy, calorie-burning aerobic dance workout. Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythm and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away! Ditch the workout and join the dance party!!

Boot Camp -Maximize your fitness level by combining weight training with short intervals of high intensity cardio work. You'll build muscle mass, increase your endurance and fight workout boredom with this fast-paced, energetic workout!

Butts and Guts - Need help getting those problem areas toned? This 45 minute class will help you get those problem areas toned up. Class will use hand weights, resistance tubing, and your own body to work your stomach, back, and butt muscles. Each class is 45 minutes and accomodates any fitness level.

Energy Kick - Punch and kick away stress while conditioning your heart aerobically, toning your body and improving your balance. A true family fun fitness class - great for all ages!

I Lost it at the Club! - Learn the latest facts & destroy the myths of fat burning for weight loss in this NUTRITION & EXERCISE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM.

Step Cardo - This is a High Energy fun class designed to increase your cardiovascular endurance. Great for the heart and fun for the feet!

Step N' Strength- A class perfect for the individual on a time crunch. Not the traditional choreographed step class! It is an energetic fun class which combines step aerobics to raise the heart rate and adds strength training to give you an all over workout. This class is for all levels of fitness.

Core Flex - 50% Core strength & 50% flxibility. All movement originates at your body's core and keeping your core muscles strong & balanced is the goal of this 40 minute class. Add the flexibility component and your risk of injury reduces significantly.

Flexibility - This class is all about relaxation, releasing endorphins and creating less tension within the body. You will learn how to maintain proper body positioning while stretching, which will increase range of motion in joints and improve overall body alignment.

Yoga - In our Hatha Yoga class, you will learn physical postures or asanas, breathing fundamentals, and techniques to cultivate our ability to observe imbalance. This 60 minute class is designed to accommodate beginner to intermediate levels.

Body Sculpt - A great total body shaping workout. This strength training workout utilize hand weights, stability balls, and resistance bands to sculpt, define, and tone the upper and lower body. This low impact workout is great for beginners or those who would like a great compliment to teir aerobic workout routine.

Cycling - Rain or Shine! A 45 minute spin class that replicates the feel of road cycling. Music and imagery are used to simulate different bike rides that include hills, sprints, flat terrain, and jumps. Spinning is for everyone, at any age, and any fitness level. It is simple, easy to learn, and a great workout. Low Impact. High Cardio. Intermediate and Advanced level classes.

Pilates - A 45 minute class that dramatically transforms the way your body looks, feels, and performs. It builds strength without excess bulk, creating a sleek, toned body with slender thighs and a flat abdomen. It teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. Pilates improves flexibility, agility, and economy of motion. It can even help alleviate back pain. Beginner to intermediate level. Low Impact!

Pump-Up! - Real results, real fast! Pump UP! is a strength endurance class where muscle and music collide. This dumbell work-out targets all of the major muscle groups of the body.

Body Blast - Challenge your body in this interval training work out. Experience a blend of intense cardio and resistance training intervals. Be inspired to challenge yourself and expand your fitness levels. A great workout! Sure to ENERGIZE you!

On the Ball- Have fun and gain strength, balance and flexibility working on the stability ball. You will use the ball in all different ways - seated, standing, lying on and under, balancing seated and kneeling. It will balance out your body and empower you!

Senior Strength- This is a great class to build strength in not only your muscles but your bodies as well. Easy to operate circuit machines are used with guidance from a certified trainer to assist you in your workout.

YOUTH CLASSES:

 

Youth Sports Conditioning -Pepare yourself for the Spring sports season or just keep yourself in shape! This class is designed using cardio and strength circuits based on various sports movements. It will teach you quickness, agility and strength for on or off the field or court.

 

Teen in Training - For ages 13 and up. Is a 60 minute core building body toning class. This strength training workout will utilize all sorts of props and equipment to keep the time flying by while you sculpt, define and tone your entire body.

 

Kids Club!- For growing kids and inquiring minds. Join your friends for a great time learning how to have a fit body through physical activity (GAMES!) Learn how to fuel your engine (EAT!) for lots of energy and fun!

 

Fit Kids - Ages 2-6yr - Good health habits should be FUN! This fit kids class provides fun, safe and developmentally appropriate activities that help children engage in excercise that will benefit them for years to come. Parents are encouraged to participate, but are not required.

 

Creative Kids - Ages 3-6yr - From finger-painting to storytime, the amount of fun the kids will have is limitless! Taught by a pre-school teacher.
